Terms and Conditions

 

Evelyn Lavelle is a certified & INFTA-accredited Forest Therapy Guide with Time Out With Trees, has a ‘Provide First Aid’ Certificate and has done a full Risk Assessment when scouting the trail we shall be following. A first aid kit and some spare equipment will be available, however it is best not to rely on the Forest Therapy Guide having something you may need.

Respect & Responsibility  

Time Out With Trees can refuse to allow a person to participate in the walk for any reason, including , but not limited to: if they do not meet the COVID Safe requirements at the time of the walk; or are not suitably dressed or prepared for the walk; or, wilfully harm or damage any property, flora, or fauna; or, behave in a manner that is dangerous, intimidating, disruptive, or disrespectful to your Forest Therapy Guide, fellow participants, the park authorities or other park users; or have not completed and returned to the guide the Participant Agreement form.

 

At the end of the walk, your Forest Therapy Guide will provide you with a Participant Feedback form for you to provide honest & candid feedback on the walk by completing the form on the day. This information is used solely to learn as a Forest Therapy Guide and improve the business and is not used for marketing or shared with any external parties. Your information is kept secure and privacy is maintained with all information you have provided Time Out With Trees. 

 

Adverse Weather 

If the weather forecast is indicating that any adverse weather conditions are likely Time Out With Trees will endeavour to contact you before the walk to discuss postponement as your safety is our primary responsibility. If you have such concerns then please contact us. 

Adverse weather such as thunderstorms, lightning, hailstorms, strong winds, dust storms, smoke, bushfire danger, flooding, severe heat, severe cold, would be considered unsafe conditions and the walk should not proceed. 

 

Postponement & Cancellation Policy

Time Out With Trees reserves the right to postpone a walk for any reasonable circumstances, such as forecasted adverse weather, and will discuss rescheduling or providing a refund with you. 

If you choose to cancel the walk 48 hours or more before the scheduled time then Time Out With Trees will offer a 100% refund of your walk fees. Any trail scouting fee will not be refunded. 

If you choose to cancel the walk with less than 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled time then Time Out With Trees reserves the right to offer no refund. (We are happy to discuss your options, if this situation arises). 

Any no-shows for a scheduled walk will result in no refund being provided by Time Out With Trees.

It is expected that all our participants show respect and consideration and contact us ahead of a scheduled walk if your circumstances change.
